a trigger is like telling the game what to do at a specific point in time.
Most of the spells in online custom games are made with triggers.

You don't know what a trigger is? you know in footmen frenzy when a footmen spawns, Thats a trigger

I play Starcraft and I make many triggers there, and I can even make triggers on Warcraft III work also. The trick is to learn by finding someone else's map and try to (NOT STEAL!!) do the same. It is easy when you are as smart as me ;D and I know all triggers on SC.

starcraft triggers are easy, for me, i made uber map that was good and popular, but i didn't released next version so it popularity went down :/

Warcraft triggers are much harder to make then starcraft triggers. yes, mostly becuaase you have lots more option than with starcraft and the triggers are more complicated the more advance you go. |

i also played starcraft but w3 world edit is much more powerful. You can do more nice trigger stuff in w3 than in starcraft...
