Does anyone know how the Shimmering Zones in Bonus Campaign was made? I thought about map archives, but I wasn't successful in saving so many states including every unit, destructible, quest, even time of day... Thanks!

you must use Game - Save Game And Load Game or Game - Save Game And Change Level and such triggers.
It's quite a complicated but you can find maps where this is done easy.
Also if you unpack some mpq files in warcraft, and find their original maps (bonus campaign) and if you load that map in WE, you'll see how they did it - but as I said it's not easy.
