NOTE:
This tutorial was written by Modeler from old DarkShadow Clan.
You will need some tools:
Warcraft III image extractor II.
Any art program besides paint, gimp is a very good art program.
You will also need Warcraft III TFT.
All listed programs (besides warcraft) can be found here

Once downloaded all programs:
Crack open your warcraft III image extractor II, look down the list until you find the unit of choice.
Click over the units name and hit 'save' save in any type EXCEPT .blp.
Open it up in your art program, you can find some methods here:

Shading:
Shading is very important and very simple, all you need is a burn brush and make the colors deeper the farther down you go.
