How To Import Icon

this tutorial will help you with importing custom icons to your map....
first thing you need is custom icon...for example download this icons.....now unpack your icon and place BTNxxx(here ShadowPhantom) in your warcraft 3 folder...best create there folder named Icons and place it there....now create in your warcraft 3 directory folder named ReplaceableTextures open it and create next folder named CommandButtonDisabled ........and put there your DISBTNxxx(here DISBTNShadowPhantom) icon.....now open your World Editor and press F12 or open Import Menager....now press ImportFile(ctrl+I) search for warcraft3\Icons and import BTNxx icon.. now press ImportFile again and search for warcraft 3\ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonDisabled and import DISBTNxx(here DISBTNShadowPhantom).....now go to ImportManager double click on BTNShadowPhantom press "UseCustomPath" and write there Icons/BTNShadow Phantom .,....now same with DISBTNShadowPhantom but instead of Icons\BTNShadowPhantom type ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonDisabled\DISBTNShadowPhantom and thats all.......i think all is good:) and i don't make any mistake...if yes correct it:P

Okay well instead of "Icons\BTNShadowPhantom " you could use, ReplaceableTextures\CommandButton\BTNShadowPhantom.blp

Also you forgot to add .blp to the endings.

.blp is just a cosmetic thing same as folder where BTNxx icon is....it can be at any folder in warcraft directory....but for me Icons folder is best for it:P

okay just to let you know, you need .blp at the edn becuase that tells we that it's a blp file and not some other file. If you don't it will be put as other.

BTN icons' paths do not need to be changed. Only DISBTN and the rest.

I'v Done an Icon in TGA format... It worked normally... lol
